Mothers of children with cerebral palsy face problems such as anxiety and depression in taking care of their children. For this reason, they need interventions so that they can meet their needs while taking care of their child. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of dialectical behavior therapy on depression and anxiety of mothers of children with cerebral palsy. The study was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of this research included all mothers of children with cerebral palsy in Tehran in 1401. From among the target population, 20 mothers of children with cerebral palsy who have a case in Hayat Arghwani Support Service Charity Organization in Tehran using the available sampling method based on the inclusion criteria were selected as the sample size and divided into 2 experimental groups (10 people) and control (10 people) were randomly placed. At first, both groups were evaluated by Beck Depression Inventory (1967) and Beck Anxiety Inventory (1970). Dialectical behavior therapy sessions were conducted in 12 sessions of 90 minutes during 4 weeks on the experimental group. At the end, both groups were re-evaluated. Data were analyzed using covariance analysis. The findings of this research showed that dialectical behavior therapy has reduced depression (P<0.05) and anxiety (P<0.05) of mothers of children with cerebral palsy. According to these findings, experts can use Dialectical behavior therapy can take effective steps in improving the living conditions of children with cerebral palsy and their parents.

The purpose of the present research was to examine the effectiveness of emotional social training on self-Concept in dyslexic students.This was a quasiexperimental study with a pre-test/post-test design and control group. The statistical population consisted of all dyslexic students in 3rd to 6th grade in Rasht, from among which a sample of 20 students were selected through convenience sampling. They were then equally assigned to two (control and experiment) groups. To collect data, ‘Karami-Nouri & Moradi’s dyslexia scale, wechsler intelligence scale for children, self-concept scale, were used. The emotional social training program was conducted for the experimental group in six sessions in a period of two months.
