The purpose of the present research was to examine the effectiveness of emotional social training on self-Concept in dyslexic students. This was a quasiexperimental study with a pre-test/post-test design and control group. The statistical population consisted of all dyslexic students in 3rd to 6th grade in Rasht, from among which a sample of 20 students were selected through convenience sampling. They were then equally assigned to two (control and experiment) groups. To collect data, ‘Karami-Nouri & Moradi’s dyslexia scale, wechsler intelligence scale for children, self-concept scale, were used. The emotional social training program was conducted for the experimental group in six sessions in a period of two months.
